TWO Underwater Healer Live Events This Week!

I’m happy to announce that this week I have not one, but TWO Underwater Healer live events in the Bay Area.  I hope you can join me either Thursday, October 8th at 6 PM at the San Francisco Apple Store on Stockton or Saturday, October 10th at 4 PM and the Apple Store in Palo Alto.  Come out to one (or both!) to hear all about my Underwater Healer Project, see photos from my many cancer survivor photo shoots and find out how you can get involved and be a supporter.  While both events are free, if you do plan to attend please register at the Apple Store event link.  I’m also excited to reveal that we will have special guest at both events!  Attending on Thursday will be survivors Alysha Gonzalez and Nancy Hom and in Palo Alto you will be able to meet survivor Eden Leatherman.  I’m so happy they will be able to join me and I am looking forward to seeing you all very soon.  And as a special bonus: if you sign up for a session at one of the Apple Store events this week you will get a special discount!

As I mentioned last week, it’s been a busy few weeks filled with many underwater shoots. I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with some amazing individuals – both survivors and supporters of my Underwater Healer project.  I was also blessed that a recent shoot took me to Palm Springs, to a beautiful home and pool that was a wonderful location to host three strong individuals underwater photo shoots.

My photo shoots in Palm Springs led me to work with three amazing women currently battling cancer and who are as tough as they are beautiful.  Claudia, a single mother to three children, was diagnosed with breast and thyroid cancer in 2014. At first she was scared and unable to sleep, but she focuses on keeping a positive attitude and says it make a huge difference.  She also refuses to wear wigs – she loves sharing her bald head with the world and showing the world she was a fighter.  She’s proud of her baldness and scars.

Also in Palm Springs was Christa, who was diagnosed earlier this year with a rare and aggressive cancer: Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  It took her a few days to get over the shock, but now, she is in fight mode.

The last incredible client is Nancy, who was diagnosed with her first of three cancer diagnose at just 17 years old with Ovarian Cancer.  After beating cancer (Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma) at 44, she is now battling Colon Cancer at 56.  Diagnosed with Stage 4, she went from in-operable to operable and is now finishing her last rounds of chemo. Yes!

I am honored to have worked with these woman who possess such strength and determination.  Please check out their testimonials and be sure to watch their videos as well.  And don’t forget to attend one of the Underwater Healer events this week!  I would love to meet you and share how you can get involved and support a healing underwater photo portrait shoot for a cancer survivor. And remember, if you sign up for a photo shoot yourself on Thursday or Saturday you get an exclusive discount!
